Jake and Shane Higgins grew up in a competitive household as the two middle boys of 4 children. Sports made the world go round. Constantly choosing opposing favorite teams (Shane liked the Yankees, Jake liked the Red Sox; Shane rooted for the Cowboys, Jake was a 49er fan), they enjoyed analyzing match-ups from all sports. Eventually, the brothers passion for sports drove them to play fantasy football, and ultimately, the entire Higgins family started playing fantasy football together in a single league.
As Jake and Shane were the foremost intellectuals regarding athletics in the family, their mom would always try to leverage their knowledge of upcoming match-ups, waiver pick-ups, and value-add trades. Almost every week, Jake and Shane would be helping their mom with her line-up, and giving her valuable advice. While they wanted to win their family league, they had so much fun doing analysis for their mom, they decided to start a blog compiling the advice they give, and to track the weekly happenings in their league.
So, all you Mom's playing fantasy football, feel free to use this as your reference so you can kick your husband and kids butts in this silly game of numbers, passion, and chance.
Your mom leads the league? How embarrassing!
